Juliet de Valero Wills founded the interior design company that bears her name in 2000. Ten years on, from her studio on Chesil Beach, she and her business partner, Louise Rea, oversee a busy schedule of projects - specialising in residential and hotel interiors, clubs and restaurants.
Juliet's English/Spanish parentage and early upbringing in Trinidad have had an undoubted influence on the company's style. Drawing on a wide-ranging cultural palette the company confidently incorporates a mixture of old and new, the exotic and the traditional.
Louise Rea joined De Valero Design in January 2010, opening the office in Surrey and bringing with her 15 years of broad and varied experience within the interiors market. This extensive range of disciplines has included detailed hotel design and specification, project management and comprehensive soft furnishing expertise. Her knowledge and passion for fabrics and all things beautiful compliment Juliets eye for detail and unique style, ensuring that De Valero Design offers a personal service that exceeds clients expectations.
"I am very excited to be involved with De Valero Design, a company I have always respected for its high quality design work, professionalism and above all, its sheer joy in what it does! I enjoy the variety, working on projects in both Dorset and Surrey, with a broad spectrum in style and scale, from a cottage near the coast, to a city apartment, a seaside hotel, through to a country manor house."
Always responsive to the end user, our design service can offer everything from advice on colour and fabrics, through to development of the brief from concept to fit out. We can simply organise the making and fitting of your soft furnishings, or liase closely with project architects, technical consultants, contractors and project managers where required. De Valero Design will strive at all times to express our clients vision through coherent and cohesive solutions.
