Hurst House Wales
'she's created not so much rooms as louche love shacks', 'pebbled bathroom floors, lime-washed walls and exposed beams our off-courtyard boudoirs were unaffected, yet sensationally luxurious'

Brief: To create an oasis of boutique luxury in the heart of the 26 acres of marsh land where Hurst House Farm has sat for over a 100 years for owners, Neil Morrissey and Matthew Roberts.

This project has been developed with Neil and Matt in essentially 3 phases since 2002. The final and most ambitious phase was to include a new swimming pool/ Jacuzzi, spa treatment area and large restaurant extension. Many of the original farm buildings were listed and so presented a further challenge to achieving the standard of comfort and service required, whilst retaining the full character and integrity of the buildings.
The hotel has been described on travel websites as 'so luxurious and restful' with 'five star' rated rooms. The 'amazing decor' and 'stylish and eclectic furniture' means 'you'll wake up never wanting to leave'.
Hurst House On The Marsh opened its doors to an enthusiastic press and clientele and was voted one of the top 100 hotels in the world by the Sunday Times.
